SEO is key if you’re a blogger or you create other online content. Luckily, SEO is not rocket science; it’s just a matter of knowing what to do, and doing it consistently. Once you’ve created valuable, reader-focused content, you got to:
1. Do keyword research.
2. Optimize your content.
3. Build links to your site.
That’s basically it. By effectively and consistently doing these tasks, you’ll achieve higher rankings and more targeted traffic.
Scribe SEO software
For the past few months, I’ve been using Scribe SEO software to help me with my SEO.
Scribe SEO makes it easy to optimize your content, thereby stepping up your traffic and search rankings. Here’s how it works:
- Once your content is created, the Scribe keyword suggestion service shows you keyword phrases you might have missed.
- Scribe then analyzes your content, scores it out of 100 for how it meets SEO recommendations, and then tells you how you can tweak it to optimize it even further for search engines.
- Next, Scribe’s link-building tools help you build back links from other sites, crosslink the content within your own site, and identify influential social media users who want to share your stuff.
‘Step up’ deal
Scribe comes from Brian Clark of Copyblogger fame and, if you’re interested in subscribing to it, he’s offering a great deal for this week only.
For a limited time, you can ‘step up’ your number of monthly Scribe content evaluations and keyword searches without paying the higher price for the next-level plan. That means you get a higher value Scribe plan for the price of the plan below it.
To get the higher plan for the lower price, go to the Plans and Pricing page and look for the yellow box below the plan option boxes. Enter STEPUP in the promo code field, and push the ‘Get’ button to see your new ”step up’ choices.
Head on over to Scribe and discover how you can start to step up your traffic and rankings. This special offer from Brian Clark ends at 5:00pm US Central Time on November 5, 2010. That’s 11:00pm UK time (I think).
Note: I’m signed up to Brian’s affiliate program, so I will earn a commission from him if you decide to buy Scribe. I only review products and services that I have tried personally and find useful – and that I think will be of benefit to other freelancers.
